1. overview

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for Apply-ED services.
It operates alongside our Terms of Service and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Apply-ED provides digital services and immediate-access tools designed to help families prepare home education materials.

2. change of mind

digital products and immediate access

Where access to Apply-ED services or materials is provided immediately after purchase (for example, access to the platform, generated drafts, or downloadable materials), we do not generally offer refunds for change of mind once access has been provided, unless we explicitly state otherwise at checkout.

This includes situations where:

  • You decide not to proceed after starting the intake
  • You choose not to use generated drafts
  • You no longer require the materials after access is granted

3. subscriptions and cancellations

If you are on a subscription:

  • You may cancel at any time via your account or by contacting us
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access until that period ends

We do not generally provide refunds for any unused portion of a billing period, unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout.

4. Faults and consumer guarantees (Australia)

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If there is a major failure with a service, you may be entitled to a refund or other remedies.
If a failure is not major, you may be entitled to have the service fixed within a reasonable time.

What constitutes a major failure is defined under the ACL and depends on the circumstances.

5. What is not refundable

To the extent permitted by law, we do not offer refunds for:

  • Time spent using the platform
  • Drafts or documents generated using the service
  • Situations where requirements change or approval is not granted
  • Outcomes that depend on external authorities or individual circumstances

Apply-ED does not guarantee registration approval or specific outcomes.

6. How to request a refund

If you believe you are entitled to a refund:

We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and handle requests fairly.

7. chargebacks

If you believe a charge has been made in error, please contact us at support@apply-ed.com.au
before initiating a chargeback so we can attempt to resolve the issue promptly

Where a chargeback is initiated:

  • We may temporarily suspend access to the account while the matter is reviewed.
  • We may provide relevant information to our payment provider to respond to the chargeback.
  • Repeated or unsupported chargebacks may result in account restriction or termination.

Initiating a chargeback does not override the terms of this Refund Policy or your obligations under our Terms of Service.

8. changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version published on our website applies from the date shown above.
